Onboarding tour

New to Ordify? Start here. This tour walks you through the basics one page at a time, so you can find your feet before exploring on your own.

It covers a small slice of what Ordify can do. Everything else is in the sidebar on the left, ready whenever you want it. What you get here are the building blocks most people need first: creating an agent, giving it access to your apps and your documents, and putting a few agents to work together.

Before you start, go to app.ordify.ai and log in, so you can try each step as you read it. If you do not have an account yet, sign up first.

Once you begin, every page in the tour is marked as part of it, and a bar at the bottom carries Back, Next, and where you are in the sequence. The page's own "what's next" links step aside while the tour is running, so there is only ever one way forward.

Set aside about 30 minutes. You can leave at any point and pick up later, since your place is remembered in this browser. Exit tour returns every page to normal.

In a hurry?

The Quick Start gets you a working agent in one sitting. Come back here when you want the fuller picture.

  1. What is an agent

Start here. Agents are the core of Ordify: AI coworkers with their own skills, tools, and knowledge.

  2. Create an agent

Build your first one, either by describing it in chat or by filling in the agent editor yourself.

  3. Connect an app

Let your agent work in the tools you already use, like Gmail, Slack, and Google Sheets.

  4. Create and edit files

Have your agent produce real deliverables, such as spreadsheets and documents, straight from a conversation.

  5. What is Knowledge

Ground your agent in your own documents so it answers from your business, not just its general training.

  6. What is a job

Move from single conversations to multi-agent workflows that run a whole process from start to finish.

  7. Create a job

Assemble a team of agents on the Job Builder canvas and set them to work.

  8. Departments

Organize agents and jobs into departments once your library grows past a handful.

  9. Memory

Memory is how Ordify remembers you and your organization, so nothing has to be re-explained.

  10. Import memoryOptional

Optional. Already use another AI assistant? Bring across what it knows about you, so your agents start with that context.

What this covers

The steps fall into four stages:

  • Build an agent (steps 1 and 2): what agents are, and how to make your first one.
  • Give it capability (steps 3 to 5): connect the apps it should work in, let it produce real files, and ground it in your own documents.
  • Work as a team (steps 6 to 8): multi-agent jobs, and departments to keep them organized.
  • Make it personal (steps 9 and 10): memory, so nothing has to be re-explained, plus an optional step for anyone coming from another AI tool.

After the tour

Once you have been through it, these are the natural next things to explore:

  • Skills: reusable instruction sets that make agents precise for specific workflows.
  • Scheduling and triggers: have jobs start on their own instead of by hand.
  • Integrations: reach your agents from Slack, Discord, your own web app, or the API.
  • Credits and usage: how consumption is measured.
